Welcome to Skoyu.com, blog of a web enthusiast. At Skoyu.com, TKH will blog about Blogging, Personal Development and Graphic Design. I will also pick out lessons and learning insights gained from blogo-&-vlogo-spheres to share with everyone, and build original features into this blog. It is my intent to embrace THE Virtuous Cycle of thinking, learning, sharing and value adding to myself, visitors and friends of Skoyu.com, while at the same time having fun blogging.

This blog is established based on three simple principles:

1. Passion for Learning – The world is our classroom, its people are our teachers, and the internet is an increasingly important media through which lessons are delivered. I hope to learn and share through skoyu.com.

2. Embracing Reciprocity – One of Skoyu.com’s missions is to achieve mutual value add between its readers and author. To receive quality feedback and comments from readers, I will first have to provide quality content and service.

3. Embracing Unity - United we stand, divided and we do not stand as firmly. A tweak to the original version of “United we stand, divided we fall”, I have amended and adopted the “new” saying as I respect the coexistence of individualism and the success it can bring. Perhaps a better translation may be

“Divided and we may not fall, but we will not stand as firmly without the support that each valued person gives.”

Embracing this concept compliments THE Virtuous Cycle. In other words, it’s always about ‘US’, not just ‘YOU’ or ‘I’.

Skoyu’s Features

As I introduce features to Skoyu.com, I will add them to this list. Read on to see what I have thus far:

Thinkers’ Delight – Thinkers’ Delight is a short “thinking” paragraph written at the start of some entries. Usually in the form of questions, the aim is to allow readers to understand the gist of that post and probe them into deeper thoughts.

Photobie Lessons For Beginners – Photobie is not the most widely used Image editor, and does not offer as many functions as Photoshop or GIMP. However, it is one of the best banner design tools for beginners and amateurs. Hop right in and let’s learn together.

Blogspot Blogging Basics (BCube) Series –This series is aimed at helping blogging newbies get started with and design their blogspot blogs. Hop right in and let’s have some fun with design.
